Refer a Patient

How we can work together for your patient

1. You determine your patient has Scoliosis.

If you determine the patient has a positive Adam’s test with definite rib humping or if X-ray exams show a scoliosis and the curve is 20 degrees or more and the child is age 8 to 14 years old than a referral is probably a good idea.

2. You discuss referral with your patient.

If you are referring your patient out for further consultation with our office then discuss it with them and you can either give them a brochure or a referral slip and have them call, or your office can call us directly to set up a FREE consult time. Please send any X-rays you have with the patient for their FREE consult. (480) 892-0022

3. We Consult and determine if bracing is necessary.

During our FREE consultation we will look over any information or films you provide. We will perform a scoliosis exam and if necessary take a full spine PA scoliosis film to assess the curvature and see if your patient would benefit from a SpineCor Brace.

4. If SpineCor Bracing is recommended.

If we believe your patient would benefit from a SpineCor brace then we will inform them and you. If the patient and their family decide to undergo bracing then we will fit them in a SpineCor brace and see them quarterly until they are stabilized.

5. We Send the Patient back to you for care.

Once the brace is applied then Chiropractic care is a good idea. We can consult with you and give you suggestions on exercises or adjustments for your patient to help you effectively treat their scoliosis.
