Follow-up Visits

Follow up visits will be very similar to the initial visit. We will perform postural and clinical exams in and out of the brace to assess the improvement in posture, curve angle with the scoliometer and on about every other visit a full spine x-ray following brace adjustment. What we should see in these follow ups is the scoliosis is stabilizing in severe cases and correcting in moderate cases. Correction is a step-by-step slow process, but in the long run this is what provides for the maintenance of the correction out of the brace.
